Description:Assistant Director (Assessment and Collection) is responsible for overseeing and managing the processes of tax assessment and collection within an organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, supervising the accurate assessment of taxes, and ensuring the timely collection of dues. The Assistant Director leads a team to track and resolve outstanding payments, addresses taxpayer queries, and works closely with other departments to streamline the assessment and collection procedures. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics and implementing strategies for efficient tax revenue collection.
Qualification:i) Masters’ degree (second division) in Geographical Information System or Space Science or Geographical Information System and Remote Sensing from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and ii) One year’s post qualification experience in the use of Geographical Information System or Space Science or Geographical Information System and Remote Sensing Application.
